The Mask (formerly Black Superhero Mask and Superhero Mask) is a face item in Club Penguin. It was first released in October 2005, then again in October 2009. It was the first mask ever to come out. It cost 100 coins in the Penguin Style. It could only be purchased by members until June 2012. It was thought to be the Ninja Mask before its actual release. It is similar to the masks of Shadow Guy and Gamma Gal, the blue and pink superhero masks. All players were able to obtain this item in Items For Everyone Catalog during the Marvel Super Hero Takeover 2012 or in Marvel Catalog during the Marvel Super Hero Takeover 2013..

During the Marvel Superhero Takeover, it went with the Black Toque and Up To No Good Suit.

History

This item was released sometime around probably October 2005. It was re-released in the October 2006 Penguin Style catolog, but it was known as the Superhero Mask. It was a secret item in the October 2008 Penguin Style. It was re-released on October 4, 2011 in the Penguin Style as a secret item.
