Tour Description
"The Beacon has a giant spotlight... and a telescope you can look through. What IS that in the distance? And if you thought penguins can't fly... try Jet Pack Adventure."

The Beacon is the top of the Lighthouse. Players can look through a telescope and if the famous penguin Rockhopper is coming to Club Penguin, his ship can be seen through the telescope. Jet Pack Adventure can be played here.

Whenever Rockhopper decides to travel to Club Penguin, he uses the bright light of the Beacon to help find his way. As revealed in Club Penguin Times, issue #226, the Beacon Light is solar powered and it is of 2500 watts. Since April 10th, 2010, you can turn the Beacon's light on and off by clicking the switch. This room is home to the most decorated during parties, because penguins never come here that often. The shape of the bulb case is a Hexagon (six-sided figure.)

It got a minor graphical makeover on August 5th 2011, with the bars at the bottom of the screen raised above the chat bar. This was the location of the last egg in the Easter Egg Hunt 2012. Since June 22, 2012, the Beacon has the music from Puffle Party 2012. This bug was fixed later.
