Construction Sites

There have been many construction sites in Club Penguin. They usually occur before parties or when re-constructing or building a new room. During this time, penguins may drill with hard hats and mining helmets more frequently, and there are signs that say "PENGUINS AT WORK" or something similar.

These or similar items are usually seen at construction sites, weather they're being worn by penguins or they're just laying around the site.

One of the most used symbols for construction, the Miners Helmet is usually given as a free item at major construction sites.
Hard Hat- Another construction hat often seen on penguins at construction sites.
Red Hard Hat- Rarest of the hard hats, it was given to penguins who participated in CPIP, and is rarely seen on construction sites anymore.

Major construction events

Construction of The Stage

The start of construction.
The stage almost complete.
The Plaza during the Surprise Party 2007, right after construction ended.

The construction of The Stage occurred in late 2007. What makes the project major is that the entire building was built from scratch.

Earthquake

The Earthquake was a Natural Disaster that occurred in June 2008, and was caused by the actions of Herbert P. Bear and his Earthquake Driller. It also is the main reason for PSA Secret Mission 7: Mysterious Tremors.

Dig Out the Dojo

Dig Out the Dojo was a large construction project in November 2008. Before then, the Dojo had been covered in snow, so you couldn't see the exterior. However, The Great Storm of 2008 damaged the roof of the Dojo and lead to the exterior being cleared of snow, and the roof being repaired. After construction was complete the Dojo Grand Re-Opening occurred and Card-Jitsu was released.

There have been construction projects at the dojo at times other than Dig Out the Dojo. Construction usually happens whenever a new elemental dojo is built.

Festival of Flight

Although the Water Party 2007 and Festival of Flight were parties, their main purpose was to fix the windows in the Cave, which threatened to break if left unattended.

Pet Shop renovation

The Pet Shop renovation occurred in March 2011, and was directed PH. It was renovated to make it more fun and interactive for the puffles. It was released along with the new design for the Puffle Card and the game Puffle Launch.

Everyday Phoning Facility reconstruction

The Everyday Phoning Facility building has had to be reconstructed/repaired three times.

The first time was in May 2010, after the Popcorn Explosion.
The second time was in June 2011, after the Battle of Doom.
The third (and most recent) repair to the building was a total re-construction that occurred in February and March 2013. The Everyday Phoning Facility and the EPF Headquarters had to be re-built after Herbert blew the rooms up with a bomb in November 2012.
